Stepmom here. I’ve found out recently that my Stepdaughters… (twins and are 16 years old) don’t have a door on their bedroom at their mother’s house. They have expressed to me how much anxiety it causes and how they can’t sleep. They got punished for something minor and it got taken off (10 months ago now) by their stepdad whom they don’t like or trust. He treats them like trash from what they have told me.. and yes I believe them because their younger brothers say the same thing. What can we do? I don’t think an adult male should decide if they have a door.. plus so many obvious things.
