Correcting human tones in Infra red photography

IR photography is useful in taking human portrait as it turns the model's complexion into smooth procelain skin tones that hid skin imperfections such as pimples and acne.

However it also gives a goulish like appearance unless the image is converted black and white. What if we would like to have a colour image and retain the perfect skin complexion that IR can offer? This video shows the workflow for correcting human tones in Infra red photography. (there are many other methods available). I am exploring photoshop masking and painting over the subject directly in this sharing session.
