Zendesk Tutorial - Asset Management In Zendesk

In this video we look at an amazing app my team and I created: the Asset Management app in Zendesk.

Assets Management is not natively available in Zendesk, but with this help of this app, you can have the same functionality as with a third party system like Asset Panda. All natively available within the Zendesk platform.

Features vs Benefits
- Crete, assign & update objects to users to get 360 view of customer data
- SKU to keep data organised directly in Zendesk
- Reports for visibility for business decisions
- Group objects by properties to overview SKU, my assigned objects vs unassigned etc

Other features:
- Overview of all custom objects and their relation to Zendesk objects (users, organizations, etc) and each other
- Create, read, update, and delete sunshine custom objects with a powerful Zendeks UI
- Represent real assets and data models in Zendesk without the need of external database or third party platforms
- Assign objects to support users using their name
- View user objects in the sidebar automatically next to their ticket or profile
- Link custom objects to other objects
- Monitor object count and break down by attributes (e.g. SKU) and relationships (e.g. assigned vs available)
- Bulk import up to 1000 records at a time
- CSV import of data
