Real First Impressions Video: 2014 Land Rover LR4 HSE LUX

In this Real Auto Reports Real First Impressions Video we take a quick look at the 2014 Land Rover LR4. As Land Rover fans know, this is also called the Discovery 4 in other markets, but for those of us on this side of the pond we know this multi-skylight multi-height roof SUV to be the LR4. For 2014 we are excited to get a chance to experience the new powertrain in the LR4, which has switched to the 3.0-liter V6 Supercharged offering.

What else has changed for 2014? Well, honestly, not that much. However, there is still a lot to talk about with our first look at the LR4 since we have been doing our Real First Impressions Videos. After recently reviewing the all-new 2014 Range Rover Sport, the questions we had for our first look include: Will the LR4 be comfortable, how will the steering and driving experience differ and how does the pricing compare?

At about $63,000 the 2014 Land Rover LR4 HSE LUX offers the attention to detail and most of the luxury features you would expect. It also seems to be missing a few features that might surprise you. The question is whether you are in the market for a luxury SUV with optional 7-seat capacity and a capable off-road heritage.
