The calm AFTER the storm (Post-Hurricane Irma)

We have VERY lucky that there was no harm done and not too much damage as a result of hurricane Irma. Those who lived in the keys or even those who live by brickell and Miami beach had to deal with a lot more damage and flooding and had mandatory evacuation.
Luckily, we live further away from the coast and did not have very much flooding, since there was not too much rain from the hurricane. The most we have to deal with is some trees that have fallen onto the streets or power lines, and most homes are without power.
FPL is doing their best to get all the homes in Miami back with power by the end of this weekend. Schools should be open and ready to get back in order by Monday. Meanwhile, everyone is just cleaning up and taking it easy after all the stress pre-Irma.
We are very fortunate and grateful that post-Irma has not been as much stress and we can all feel like a big weight has been lifted off our shoulders. Hoping for the best and that this hurricane season doesn't bring another our way anytime soon.
