Dramatic Moment Secret Service Removes Trump After Shots Fired at Dinner

The video shows US President Donald Trump being rushed from the ballroom of the Washington Hilton after shots were heard during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 25.

According to reports, the Secret Service quickly escorted Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and cabinet members out of the venue after gunfire was reported inside the building.

Video recorded by Jamel Holley captures the tense moment Trump was surrounded by Secret Service agents and swiftly led from the room, while heavily armed officers with guns drawn moved onto the stage.

Speaking later that evening, Trump said an armed man charged a security checkpoint carrying multiple weapons before being taken down by Secret Service personnel.

One Secret Service officer was shot during the incident but was protected by a bulletproof vest.
