Off-roading & Fly-Fishing in the San Bernardino National Forest

In this video Mama Goose & I head up to do some off-roading in the San Bernardino National Forest with one of our daughters in tow in her 2020 JLU Sport. Our destination was Deep Creek located in between Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. And of course, I just had to bring my fly rod just in case I saw some fish.

But the excitement started well before that when we traveled along Forest Road 2N27Y, which is basically the extra credit road. For more mild conditions, I would recommend Forest Road 2N25. Mama Gooses' 2-door JL did just great with no real difficulty whatsoever. However, my daughters Jeep is a Sport 4-door JLU on 33" tires and no lift. Believe it or not hers did really good too. Just a few scrapes and three wheeled fun, but overall these gals did wonderful.
