https://www.patreon.com/loisdavidsonart Here I try to paint a 'film noir' style urban cityscape in a loose style, it's a bit of an experiment, and I'm not sure that it quite worked, but it was a lot of fun, and a good starting point to learn to paint in this style!

Materials:
Paynes grey, indigo, raw sienna, white gouache, Millford cold pressed watercolour paper, various brushes including hakes, rigger, flat brushes and squirrel mop
