My 1st PROM... with a Broken Foot? | #PROM 2018 Get Ready With Me

The wait is over! I know you’ve all been excited for this video, my Prom 2018 vlog! I spent all week vlogging my school’s prom week shenanigans!

Brett and I dressed up different every day this week in goofy outfits from Safari Day, to Vine & Meme Day... it was a blast! On the final day, Friday, the day before prom, our whole group wore matching prom t-shirts! As you all know, I have a stress fracture in my foot and had to wear a boot all week and even to Prom! I had to get creative in hemming my dress, and the other shoe I needed to wear so I looked somewhat normal!

Y'all saw Brett ask me to Prom from our BehindTheBraids vlog on CGH, but many of you might not know that Brett's mom and my mom were high school best friends, college roommates, and next door neighbor for the past 5 years. All of us kids pretty much grew up together. (Brett is incredibly smart, an All-State cross country and track star, and, yes, a little quiet around girls. PLEASE BE NICE to him in the comments!)

Getting ready for prom at my house was so much fun! Brooklyn, Bailey and I all had our friends over to get ready together. There was perfume, makeup and hairspray everywhere! As well as laughing, and goofing off. Getting ready for Prom with your friends is honestly a big part of what makes the event that much more much fun!

After we were all glammed up, our dates met us at our house and we took a bunch of pictures in our backyard. With so many different couples and each set of parents there with them, our whole backyard was crawling with people! It was SO much fun!

Prom night itself was such a blast! We all ate at Maggiano's together, and danced and sang the night away! At the end of the night, we had the group over to our house for a small afterparty, with games and snacks, and finally went to sleep by 2am! What a FUN night!
