System Design Shopify eCommerce platform Interview Question for software engineers

How do you design an eCommerce platform like Shopify? In this episode we are going to explore multiple options and we will be using Docker containers, Packer VM's and AWS cloud resources like EC2 and RDS to build our own Shopify system design and answer a hypothetical "How do you design Shopify?" interview question. We will also cover a monitoring system with health checks.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not affiliated with Shopify, I don't know how their internal architecture looks like and while we will cover a lot of topics in this video, we can barely scratch the surface of this system design.
