I often get asked by photographers just starting out which lens they should buy, or more specifically, what focal length. That is a very difficult question since its so dependent on the user, how and what they shoot. But here is at least my personal top 5.

All the focal lengths listed in the video are rough full frame equivalents. The cameras used for the samples stretches from the Pentax Q to to full frame DSLRs and mirrorless.
