FISH OF ORIGIN is back for 2023! Australia’s biggest sporting rivalry hits the water once again, as four legends of the game switch the field for water and battle it out on the Great Barrier Reef where they board Bounty Hunter in search of Coral Trout.

Round 1 saw a tightly contested battle on the reef, where the Blues took out the victory.

To keep the competition fair between the Maroons (Gorden Tallis & Sam Thaiday) and the Blues (Nathan Hindmarsh & Luke Lewis), NRL legend and host of Escape Fishing Andrew 'ET' Ettingshausen will be on hand to act as a referee. The two teams will be put through a points system based on fish caught and fishing skills across targeted species.
