I feel- conflicted? On Will’s portrayal atm. Because…I respect on one hand, YES, LGBT people shouldn’t HAVE to come out. That would be a great world to live in in which we don’t have to announce ourselves to the world. ON THE OTHER HAND, Will’s story stinks of queerbaiting, on and off the screen. Idk, like Byler obviously won’t be canon, and it's not about the ship for me but like- it wouldn’t have been hard for him to confess to Jonathan, or his mom? Or hell- even just the audience knows. The excuse of “up to interpretation” is so overused and so bs because it only ever applies to queer people. Idk, Stranger Things, do better. Let Will come out in s5.
