Alaska's Great Kodiak Bears - Ayakulik Adventures

The best bear viewing and salmon fishing on the planet. Ayakulik River Adventures located at the mouth of the Ayakulik River, on Kodiak Island, Alaska provides opportunity to view Kodiak Brown Bears as they interact with one another & spawning Pacific salmon.
This film was shot in July & August 2010 and features a sow with 4 new cubs who adopts a 2 year old orphaned juvenile bear. Behavior like this had never been recorded. Sequences include the new cubs and the juvenile nursing and catching salmon.
