No WAR will stop me from visiting SYRIA in 2019!!! | My 1st travel vlog!

I’m a 20-something year old, half Syrian, half Lebanese, Australian born food lover.

I last visited Syria 9 years before this trip, after which I said I’d never return because I believed the country was far too “back in time” for my liking. Over the years, I have travelled some more, lived in Thailand for 14 months and with that; grown and matured, which thankfully allowed me to shift my perspective and appreciate Syria in a profound way.

In the 9 years since my visit, the country was torn apart by turmoil, destruction and mayhem, yet continues to be one of the most hospitable countries, full of culture and an immense amount of charisma.
