In this video, we will be taking a look at a lovely ukulele melody. The melody is pretty simple and it works pretty good for beginners who wants to take it a step further and improve their fingerpicking technique and finger dexterity.

You can use this melody as a warm-up or a right and left-hand exercise. It's a lovely classical motif that can also be transposed in many different keys.

There are three things you should always follow when practicing this Ukulele melody.

1.Always pluck the strings with alternate fingering. In this video, we will use the index-middle fingerpicking pattern.
2.With the left hand, use all the fingers and don't press the frets with just one finger.
3.When you feel comfortable with the simple version, replace the first open string with the fretted note.
