Questions over King Charles’ succession plans following cancer diagnosis
News Corp Columnist Angela Mollard says King Charles’ succession plans have had “little” said about them, but it is “very unlikely” a man of his age and condition would not be considering them.
“Little has been said about this, but the suggestion is that he has been considering his succession plans,” she said.
“I think it is very unlikely that a man of 75, coming to the throne late as he did, and now of course with that cancer diagnosis would not be thinking about his succession.
“He has two sons, he has plenty of heirs, there is a whole catalogue of people.
“There would be a lot of thought going into – how that will happen, and of course particularly what role if any Prince Harry would have in those succession plans.”
