Edger-Grinder in action

This is the edger converted to a stump grinder in action. I fast forwarded the boring parts a little but kept is slow enough to see. The actual time spent grinding the stump was under 10 minutes so I would call it a complete success. You can do about 4 smallish stumps before the blades get tired.(5 or 6 if the blades are more pricey in your neighborhood. LOL ) The blades I used were the cheapest I could find, $9 US for a 3 pack at Lowes.

I know you know better but I have to say it.... using a tool for anything other than it's intended purpose can create unforeseen hazards, in this case, trust me, @#$%# flies everywhere. wear eye protection and safety gear and stay the %$@# away from the running blades. :-)
