Heating Service Call - temperature inside house stays in low to mid 60's when outdoor temperature is below 30 degrees. Client had a home inspection prior to closing - was advised to replace the boiler. 3 years later the indoor temperature struggles to even get to 64 when the outdoor temperature drops below 30

Let’s discuss tankless water heating options for religious Jewish clients. On the sabbath, an observant Jew does not operate anything electrical - and most don’t take a shower, bath, etc. because it’s considered “work” - the drying process, etc. However on the holidays - and there are MANY during the year, you can use hot water. Issue with tankless water heaters is that: when you open a hot water faucet you instantly activate the system - creating flame that didn’t exist before. Therefore a tankless water heater is out of the question. (To most). Over the years, I have discovered There are methods to get around this. For example: the Navien NFC combi has a DHW setting allowing for “always on”. On other tankless models, we can create a recirculating line to “delay” the ignition process.
