Nine Inch Nails - Live, North America 2014 - "Assault" setlist

Here is another "patchwork" show from NIN's 2014 tour.

Background is, that I experienced two cases of very good fortune this summer: we were spending a couple of days in Washington at the very same time that the NIN/SG tour hit Bristow. This was too good a chance to pass, so I finally got to enjoy a live NIN show - and on top of this we were treated with the semi-rare "hard" setlist (nicknamed "Assault" by the tour crew), which was only played a handful of times during the tour.

Since only the regular setlist (nicknamed "Fuji") was professionally recorded I decided to make this "documentary" myself, hoping that the "Fuji" recording will see the light of day together with the (hopefully) forthcoming Tension DVD/BD.

Comparing with my previous "patchwork" video from the EU tour, there are several improvements to this one. Most significantly that I used a dedicated audio source and that I switched video editing software. The old one only allowed up to 4 camera angles, where the new one can handle up to 9.

So, in fond memory of (probably) the most intense 90 minutes experienced on a rock stage this year, here goes. Hopefully you will also be able to relive the moment - or at least see what you missed. :)
