Hey, guys, let's talk swan necks for your ABIMIG AT MIG guns. Construction of ABIMIG swan necks... These necks are made to be durable on the job site, which is obviously extremely important, provide optimal current transfer as well as heat dissipation. The AT swan necks use an octagonal locking interface that allow you to rotate the torch neck on the front end at 360 degrees, while locking it at 45 degree increments. There are some AT swan necks that have a round interface that allow you to both rotate and lock it at 360 degrees. So wherever you feel comfortable locking it, you can do so. All right. So torch next. Let's start from right to left. Start with the short guy here. This is the short neck version for the ABIMIG AT available in a 45 or a 60 degree bend for the 340 or the 400 amp version. A really great option for those having to do very repetitive welds or very tight access welds. The standard neck, which is your all-rounder are going to work for almost every application you have out there. A 60 degree bend, 230, 340, 400 amp ABIMIG AT, this is the neck you're going to get on it. You can get a slightly longer neck if you prefer, same 60 degree bend. It's going to be 220 millimeters or eight and a half inches long. All right, so if you have a lot of different joints to access, then the flex neck would be a really good option for you. You can bend it 90 degrees or more. Really allows you to seamlessly go from joint to joint without having to swap out swan necks. The 180 straight neck is going to be useful if you utilize the AT for a welding tractor or for a hard automation system of some kind. It'll allow you to keep an accurate and reliable torch angle while manipulating that system to access the joint as needed. All right, so the long neck, and there's actually a longer version of this neck available as well... These are very useful for keeping the welder's hand away from the heat while they are welding or to help them access tough to reach joints, either overhead or around the part. These necks come in a 45 degree bend and are available for the 340 and 400 amp versions. The best part about these necks is you can utilize multiple necks on the job. If you're gonna to do that, would recommend using neck liners. So these neck liners just simply slide into the neck, and it has a little seat here at the base of it. And this will sit in the end of your wire liner so you can have a reliable wire feed every time you swap the neck out. One of the other great features of the ABIMIG AT is any of the necks can be used on any version of the gun. So if you're welding with a 355 to 340 amp version, you can put a 400 amp neck on the 355 or a 230 amp neck on a 355. You'll just have to be aware of the differences in amperage and duty cycle and how that will affect the life of your swan neck and consumables.
