On May 18, 2023, Border Patrol agents and Tohono O’odham Nation tribal police were involved in the fatal shooting of Raymond Mattia at his home in the O’odham village Menagers Dam. On June 23, Border Patrol's parent agency, Customs and Border Protection, released partial footage from three Border Patrol agents' body cameras, along with other primary materials. This is the video Customs and Border Protection released to the public.
