Thurgood Marshall Memorial 3D 180 VR

This 3D 180 VR experience is a visit to the Thurgood Marshall Memorial, which is located in Lawyers Mall adjacent to the Maryland State House in Annapolis, Maryland. Designed by artist Toby Mendez, the memorial includes an 8-foot statue of Marshall as a young lawyer. Facing him are two benches: On one of the benches are the figures of two children representing Marshall's most important achievement, Brown v. The Board of Education of Topeka. On the other bench is the figure of Donald Gaines Murray, whose entrance into the Law School of the University of Maryland marked Marshall's first important victory in his struggle for school integration. Within the circle of the plaza is a chronology of the important events in Thurgood Marshall's long and distinguished career.
