Raiding a Nether Fortress! ▫ Minecraft Survival Guide S3 ▫ Tutorial Let's Play [Ep.16]

The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 3 continues in Minecraft 1.20!
In this tutorial, we return to the Nether to explore the dangers and rewards of the Nether Fortress.

First, we dip back into Piglin bartering so we have some Fire Resistance potions on our side. We then venture into a Nether Fortress to loot some chests, discover the 'Rib' Smithing Template, and grab the Nether Wart we'll need to start brewing potions!

We encounter our first Blazes and Blaze Spawners, farming enough Blaze Rods that we can tackle future episodes on potion brewing, Ender Chests, and locating the Stronghold. We also run into Wither Skeletons and discuss ways to deal with them, how you can tell the inside and outside sections of a Nether Fortress, and what loot is worth leaving behind.

Then we return to the Soul Sand valley Nether Fortress to see how that one generated differently, why so many mobs spawn there - with a simple explanation of how the mob cap works in Minecraft.
