High River is a town located 30 minutes south of Calgary, Alberta in Canada. It is a vibrant community where the "old" meets the "new." It is very rich in history, home to diverse cultures, and very competitive when it comes to innovation and progress. These characteristics and its distinct location in the Foothills of the Canadian Rockies has made the town a home to various films and TV series such as (but not limited to)
the 1983 Superman 3 and Heartland (since 2007) by the CBC Television.
