Canon R6 Mark II Sandhill Crane Photography 800mm

I went back to the Hiwassee Wildlife refuge to photograph Sandhill Cranes. This time I brought my Canon EOS R6 Mark II and the RF 800 f/11 IS STM telephoto lens. I arrived just after sunrise and managed to bag several images that I was happy with. I also made a few video clips of the beautiful birds in flight. Another highlight for me was meeting a couple of channel viewers. In addition to the Sandhill Cranes, I photographed a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, an Eastern bluebird, and a Blue Jay. The latter was an inflight shot. Join me on this sunrise bird photography adventure!
