Japan’s Gorgeous Edo-era Moutain Village | Tsumago-juku

Today we are exploring the charming old Edo-era post town called Tsumago-juku. This preserved historic town was one of the dozens of post stops along the route from Edo called the Nakasendo. There are several preserved villages along this route worth visiting, including Magome, Naraijuku, and more! Come along!

BONUS: don’t miss the unplanned visit and interview with the eclectic fashion designer JUN OBARA! From 14:25

We rented a camper and are LIVE STREAMING in many scenic towns in the Izu, Nagano and Gifu areas of Japan starting August 1 – you won’t want to miss it! Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to the channel and click the NOTIFICATION BELL so you don’t miss out on any Live Streams.
