1984 Subaru MV1800 "Hookback" Pick-up.
There are a few things I should have mentioned in the video that I will now add here...
This is an Early MK2 (Gen 2) Subaru MVBrumbyBRAT and as such has the chrome front bumper. Being a truck sold for the British Market it also has a rear fog light fitted. It is believed that there were upwards of 20,000 Subaru pickups imported into the UK (That number includes both MK1 and 2 trucks) . It is known there are now less than 200 road legal ones left on Britain's roads now. If you can provide any further information on Subaru,s great little Pick-up/Ute then please add it below. Like many I have lived in hope that Subaru may oneday resurrect the MVBrumbyBRAT ... but I won't hold my breath .
