Meet Hager Eissa
Hager Eissa is a powerful voice for Sudanese women’s and human rights, and a trailblazer for change across Africa. Her work bridges grassroots activism and global advocacy, with a strong focus on defending political prisoners and advancing justice.
Recognized on the world stage as an Obama Leader (2023), UN Youth Fellow (2024), and MIPAD honoree, Hager continues to amplify underrepresented voices. She is also the founder of “It’s All About You Queens” and Echos of Freedom, initiatives uplifting women and raising awareness on political imprisonment.
As a Peace Ambassador for Sudan’s democratic future, Hager stands at the forefront of global conversations on justice, freedom, and inclusion.
Hager was elected WLC Leadership Council member in the last WLC General Assembly in Berlin.
