Vanessa Smith with Glenn Mullin Three Video Shorts
NY videographer Vanessa Smith creates a trilogy of three video shorts with Tantric Buddhist teacher and author Glenn Mullin. The interview was shot in the Rubin Museum of Art, NY, after one of Glenn's lectures there during an exhibition of the Karma Lingpa tradition of Zhi-tro tangkas, often referred to in the West as "Bardo Paintings" because of the popularity of Karma Lingpa's book "Liberation by Hearing in the Bardo," which is often published with the title "The Tibetan Book of the Dead." A three dimensional mandala carved from wood was part of the exhibition, and the interview was filmed in front of it. Glenn was at the RMA at the time to lecture on his newest book (at the time), "The Tibetan Book of the Dead: An Illustrated Edition," with photos by Thomas Kelly.
