Searching For A Remote Gold Mine and Waterfall
High up in these mountains lies a remote gold mine that has remained idle for the last 80 years. Started back in 1915 by the owner and his three sons, this is quite the historic gold mine. The amazing thing about it is the shear amount of amazing machinery still remaining at the site. The site features a ball mill, chilean mill, engines, shaker table, compressor, jaw crushers and much more! Not much remains in terms of structures, due to the Forest Service coming in and knocking down the few cabins. The ore bin is still there, but it is basically totally collapsed in on itself and has started the slow slide down the mountain. The mine workings proved to be quite extensive with a few levels to explore. Hope y'all enjoy this video, as always thanks for the support and thanks for watching!
