Apple WWDC 2006 Keynote - The first Mac Pro introduction

The very first Mac Pro, introduced at WWDC 2006 by Phil Schiller.

Thanks to the switch to the less power consuming and less heat producing Intel processors, a lot of room became available for more hardware, for example more harddrives and a second optical drive.

With the introduction of the Mac Pro, Apple completed the transition to Intel processors it began in january 2006.
