To celebrate their 2020 revival / reboot series, I take a look at the history and evolution of the ANIMANIACS, the totally insaney, cockamamie creations of producer Tom Ruegger, spawning in the early-1990s as part of a collaborative partnership between Hollywood mega-producer Steven Spielberg and Warner Bros Animation.

One of the most popular, and most critically acclaimed cartoons of the 90s, Animaniacs broke ground with its cutting-edge style and far-from-innocent blend of children’s entertainment and adult humor, featuring whacky, slapstick comedy with racy characters and risqué escapades.

I take a look at the history, inception and development of the original series and its jettison into the 21st century.
