Shooting the Blood Moon With an EF-S 55-250mm | Canon M6 mark II

On the 26th May I stood out in the dark for about 3 hours in 8°C weather, armed with my trusty Canon M6 mark II fitted with the EF-S 55-250mm budget zoom lens, hoping that the clouds would clear so I could take photos of the full lunar eclipse and resulting blood moon.
I decided it could be fun to document the shoot and talk you though how I shot the moon and what settings I had success with.
