Defense doesn’t grab headlines in the NBA and some players are so good on the other side of the ball they can afford to ignore it. Those players usually don’t win championships but still become household names due to their offensive highlights. This list exposes the top 10 worst defenders in the NBA. In 2020 there have been embarrassing moments for Trae Young defense, DeMar Derozan defense, D’Angelo Russell defense, D’Lo defense, Bobby Portis defense, Zach Lavine defense, Carmelo Anthony defense, James Harden defense, Collin Sexton defense, Kevin Love defense and Lou Williams defense. This list has rules: the player must actually try which excludes talking about Bradley Beal defense and he must play enough to hurt his team so guys that don’t get a lot of minutes don’t count. We could have put entire teams on this list because of Wizards defense or Cavaliers defense but that would have been lazy. Let me know who I left out or who I got wrong!
