Chris Hani Municipality blames illegal water connections

The Chris Hani District Municipality in the Eastern Cape has blamed
illegal connections and high demand for the water crisis in the area.

The municipality's response comes as residents are forced to compete
with animals at water sources.

Some parts of the area have been without water for three years.
