THE PRETTY THINGS - SWEET STONES (1973 album) Electric Banana/Parachute/Rolling Hot Licks/Phil May

I do not own the rights to this music.

This is intended to collect all of their non-album tracks from 1970 to 1973 and make a fan sequenced album out of them.

After the classic Parachute album, The Pretty Things recorded a slew of singles and a mini LP called Hot Licks under the band name Electric Banana. They were led by frontman Phil May (who passed in 2020) and a young new recruit, guitar wunderkind Pete Tolson (who passed in 2016.) Tolson would later turn down playing in both Scorpions and Led Zeppelin. Fans of The Pretty Things include Bob Dylan, John Lennon, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Easybeats, Jim Morrison, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Van Morrison, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Blur, Oasis, Nirvana and The White Stripes.

This is a fan-sequenced 1973 album of formerly non-album tracks. For more rare tracks by The Pretty Things check out our videos Electric Banana 1967-1978, Turn My Head (songs only done live), Sunshine (1972), Phil May & the Fallen Angels (1978), Wally Waller's Do It/I Don't Feel Well (1978/1981) and Lost Late Leftovers.
