Walk through of a solar installation recently completed on a customers narrowboat at Salt on the T&M Canal (near Stone).

610 watt panels with 100/30 Victron MPPT controller with bluetooth monitoring with the Victron Connect App. In late 2019 Victron have updated the Victron Connect software and now allows you to alter tail current in the expert mode.

The excellent Victron controller limits max charging current to 30 amps which is ample for the efficient 12V system but enables a larger solar array to increase performance on duller days.
