Washington Football Team releases Dwayne Haskins, once viewed as future franchise QB

The Dwayne Haskins era in Washington is officially over.

The team announced Monday that they have released the second-year quarterback.

The move comes after Haskins struggled against Carolina on Sunday at FedEx Field.
