Archery practice - Bare shaft shooting Part 1 - Details in the discription!

Hi folks! First of all I wanna say:

If I should Go into all details about tuning , this video would be two ours long. So I’m not gonna do that. With this bow I’m shooting, I can shoot several tip weights, cause it’s cut past center.

In general the rules are as followed:
1) If the shaft is to stiff, you can add more weight to the front, or choose a weaker spine
2) If the shaft is to weak, you can take some weight of the front, or build out your strike plate, or choose a stiffer spine
3) If the nock is indicating high, you can lower your nocking point, or build up the shelf.
4) If the nock is indicating low, you can raise your nocking point.

My nocking point is slightly to high in this video. I have corrected that by building up my shelf and made a "bumb" on my shelf, for better arrow clearence. We will talk about that in part 2

I can shoot 125 grain to 200 grain with the same shaft. The 200 grain, I’m using in this video, makes the shaft slightly weak, wich I like for a few reasons.

First Reson is: the feathers stiffens the shaft, when fletched.

Reason nr. Two: the slightly weaker shaft is compensating for lack of drawlenght in hunting situations when shooting from above, and in awkward positions. Every bowhunter knows that it will happen! No english in this video 😃 Subtitles available
