Travel Vlog | Venice 2019

Remarks: Coming from New York, it is really rare to experience a city without cars. This made my experience feel unique and Venice became my favorite part of this Europe trip. I love how small and close all the islands are, yet there is still so much to explore and so much to eat.

In this trip, I chose to walk instead of traveling by water taxi since I only had 3 days here and traveling on water taxi takes up time. To be fair, everything is pretty close to each other so it wasn't too bad at all. I didn't get to explore all the islands so I will have to come back!

*Favorite experience here is actually walking from Arsenale (where my airbnb is) to Osteria Al Squero (really good cicchetti omg). I had to walk through St. Mark's Square and the newly built bridge - Ponte della Costituzione. Was able to experience so much in one walk AND I get to eat the best cicchetti ever.

*Least favorite experience: THE PIGEONS IN VENICE. They fly extremely low (right above your heads) and they have no shame in searching for food even if you are 1 centimeter away from them. I know they are trying to make a living but ooufff... can you go a little further? Kay, thanks.

**Again, everything is so close to each other in Venice. I feel like Venice itself IS the attraction. Have fun and enjoy it!

^An absolute must visit if you are in Venice. Wonderfully fried and cooked seafood street food. You can eat this while walking, I love it!
