Part 2 Challenge 15 solution - Number Hunt | Master the Mainframe 2019 | IBM MTM 2019

This video is solution to the Part 2 challenge 15 of the Master the Mainframe Contest 2019.

This challenge requires you to sum 6 numbers and put it into a JCL. These 6 numbers are located at 6 different locations. These locations are PS dataset, PDS dataset, VSAM dataset, Unix file has 2 records and DB2 table.

These numbers can be in EBCDIC format, ASCII format or hexadecimal as well. After you find all the numbers, you have to sum these numbers and put that sum into SYSIN of a JCL. After submitting the JCL your challenge will be completed.

Master the Mainframe or MTM is an annual contest organized by IBM every year. The aim of the contest is to make students familiar with Mainframes. Students can learn valuable skills and earn digital badges.

These badges help in getting employment as well. You can use the badges to apply for jobs. The badges can also be used on your LinkedIn account.

The Master the Mainframe Contest consists of 3 parts. The solution to all the 3 parts can be found on my channel.
