Restored 1986 Kawasaki Tecate from the Shop of Pat Farnum! Machine Review and Facility Tour!

My very good friend Pat Farnum is extremely talented. There are lots of shade tree mechanics out there doing rattle can restorations (I'm one of them). Some parade their work out to the world as top quality restoration work and sell it for top dollar prices... as their POS machines are decked out with red chains, Sun-F tires and the cheapest ebay decals they could source. It's honestly pathetic.

Then there are people like Pat. Meticulous. Methodical. Relentless in their pursuit of the most factory correct restoration possible. Coming up with techniques that simulate the factory look and striving for perfection. And the best part is, Pat is so humble, if he reads this, he might think I'm describing someone else... lol.

He and I were talking recently about this 1986 Kawasaki Tecate he had just finished restoring and he sent me some pictures of it. I was just floored by how perfect it was and I told him how nice it would be to come get some video of it and maybe tour his shop that was finished up earlier this year. He was on board, so we set up a time and it was an afternoon well spent!
