DESCRIPCIÓN
Resumen de la historia y la vida de Legolas, hijo de Thranduil, hijo de Oropher, reyes de los Elfos del Bosqueverde el Grande, el Bosque Negro y el Bosque de las Hojas Verdes. Tauriel es un personaje que en los libros no existe, como tampoco se menciona nunca a la madre de Legolas. No sabemos si nació en la Primera Edad, la Segunda o la Tercera, pero deducimos que es la Segunda, y tampoco sabemos si luchó en la batalla de los Cinco Ejércitos aunque parece probable. Fue enviado a Rivendel para informar que Gollum había huido, participó en el Concilio de Elrond y se unió a la Compañía del Anillo. No se hundió en la nieve del Caradhras, entró en Moria, reconoció al Balrog, se hizo amigo de Gimli, Galadriel le regaló un arco, mató a una bestia alada de los Nazgûl, viajó por Rohan hasta Fangorn, fue a Edoras y luchó en Cuernavilla, luego viajó a Isengard, de ahí a Dunharrow, a Pelargir, se enamoró de las gaviotas, que despertaron su deseo por el mar, luchó en Pelennor, en Morannon, vivió en Minas Tirith y luego renovó Ithilien. A la muerte del rey Aragorn Elessar construyó un barco y navegó con Gimli hasta Valinor.
