Napolitan Udon from anything I have in my fridge #cookingseries

One of Japanese Netflix Series brought me to this recipe. Guess what’s it? Iyyess. First Love. The series that also take me back in 2011 when I use to listen to Utada Hikaru. In the movie, Yae Noguchi use spaghetti pasta, bell pepper and grated cheese (if I’m not mistaken) on her napolitan. Me? I use everything I could find in my fridge. I bought this udon a month ago btw.
Ingredients:
- 1 portion udon noodles
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tbsp coconut oil (opt)
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- Champignon Mushroom (or any mushroom)
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Pepper
- Pinch of salt
- Dried parsley
Steps:
1. Thinly slice garlic and cut the mushrooms into small pieces
2. Drop the udon noodles in rapidly boiling water. It takes 1-2 minutes. Do not overcook the noodles since they alrecome precooked in the packets.
3. Heat the coconut oil and butter in a frying pan and saute the garlic over low heat until it’s fragrant.
4. Turn up the heat and stir-fry the mushrooms.
5. Add the udon noodle and seasone with pinch of salt and pepper
6. Add the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
7. Mix them well and sprinkle with the dried parsley and parmesan cheese if you have it.
