My PRK recovery experience (June 2018) | Elora Jean

Hello everyone! It felt so weird not posting my usual videos during the week, but here's why! I got PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) eye corrective surgery, which is suuuper similar to LASIK. My surgery was completed at Travis Air Force Base, in California, by Air force technicians and doctors. The surgery and prescriptions were completely covered by the Air Force, I just had to pay for a ticket out to Cali! I take you along with me on my week-long recovery, so you can maybe know what to expect if you're thinking of opting for the surgery. I went in knowing results were not guaranteed, and my vision was not promised to be fixed in any way. That being said, I feel great, and am happy as of now I got the surgery- my follow=up appointment went well and my vision looks great.
