fix roots invading a drain pipe from sump pump discharge. The main drain was pvc pipe connected to black perforated flex pipe. The root system got access to the main pvc drain pipe via the black flex pipe and followed the source of water into the pvc pipe until completely plugging the pvc drain pipe. Eliminating the root problem involved digging up and cutting the white pvc drain pipe till the remaining root system could be pulled from the main drain pipe.
