100 years old soldier's buckle Restoration

In this video I will show you a restoration of a WWI German buckle. Parts of this buckle were found separately at different locations. These parts of the buckle have been underground for over 100 years.
I decided I could reattach these parts into a single buckle. To remove oxides, I used an oxalic acid solution. Then I cleaned and polished all the details. I made the pin on a lathe.
