Duane Lee 'Dog' Chapman Sr. is an American television personality who gained popularity with the A&E series Dog the Bounty Hunter. Duane is a convicted murderer and a former bail bondsman. He currently works as a bounty hunter. Duane came into news in 2003 after successfully capturing Andrew Luster, the heir to Max Factor cosmetics after Andrew was convicted of multiple sexual assaults. Exactly a year later, the American pay television network A&E hired Duane and gave him his first reality television series Dog the Bounty Hunter. The series was a huge success and has led to two spin-offs since.
