"Sisters, stories and hope. This is exactly what you'll find at the heart of this up-and-coming UK duo. Using music to tell honest tales of life with uplifting lyrics, and a generous helping of funky beats courtesy of Jimmy James Productions. HopeGene have been around for some time. Over the last twelve years HopeGene have toured locally and internationally (South Africa, Fiji and Norway), been runners up in the GMAs (USA) twice, and released an EP in 2015 (Breathe the life). HopeGene are excited at having released their long-awaited studio album, 'Defined' on New Year's Eve 2021. The album reflects the group’s journey, and gives a resounding message of hope."
